Bureau of ECA: Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators

Open Call for Displacement Education Fund – UK Projects

Deadline: 17-May-21

The Study of the U.S. Branch (ECA/A/E/USS), Office of Academic Exchange Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), invites proposal submissions from accredited U.S. post-secondary education institutions and other U.S. public and private non-profit organizations for the design and implementation of three Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators to take place over the course of five weeks in summer 2022.

The Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators are intensive academic programs whose purpose is to provide foreign secondary-level educators (administrators, curriculum developers, education ministry officials, teachers, teacher trainers, and textbook writers) the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, education, culture, and institutions.

The ultimate goal is to promote the development and improvement of courses and teaching about the United States at secondary schools and teacher training institutions abroad.
