The Calgary Flames Foundation’s Community Grant Program is now open to support charitable organizations in southern Alberta working to bring positive change to the lives of southern Albertans.
This program supports initiatives under three main pillars of health and wellness, education and grassroots sports with an emphasis on youth. Grants come in a variety of sizes depending on the scope and scale of project or program.
The Calgary Flames Foundation is investing in Play! Whilst they provide funding to a broad scope of programs and charities that support the community, due to the recent volume of applications priority and funding emphasis will be given to applications that are using sport, movement, activity and play to benefit the lives of the population they charity works with. Calgary Flames Foundation support prioritizing programs for youth.

Funding over $50,000 is available.
Eligibility Criteria
- The grant program can only accept applications from CRA registered charities.
- The Calgary Flames Foundation appreciate the support of the Flames 50-50 program. All funds raised through the 50-50 is distributed under the guidance, rules and regulations of the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission. Successful applicants will be required to complete an AGLC form in order to gain this approval from the AGLC.
- If you are successful in receiving funding please note you will be unable to apply for three years from the date you received funding.
