Deadline: 17 November 2016
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking applications for its Suriname Global Climate Change Alliance Project with an aim to support the country in improving its current climate change adaptation capacity in two Expected Results Areas (ERA). In both ERAs, the focus will be on the development of capacity to adapt to climate change and contribute to mitigation of climate change in Suriname.
The first area will address the expanding of existing knowledge on effects of climate change and on developing tools and instruments that will allow developing adaptation measures to the benefit of the entire population. Secondly, strengthening national capacities for mangrove conservation.
The Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA+) criteria provide a reference to compliment the Project Proposal submissions and provide an overview of the administrative arrangements that will be put in place to review the proposals.
