The Department of Health’s Community Wellness Programs are now accepting one-time funding applications for community-led Health and Wellness Programming throughout Nunavut.
Funding Information
- $10,000 grant
Duration
- Approved programming may begin any time after April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Criteria
Community-based non-profit organizations and municipal corporations may apply for this funding for programs and activities that:
- Develop and coordinate a community-led project.
- Increase health and wellness awareness in mental health, alcohol harm reduction, and/or maternal and child health.
- Encourage Nunavummiut to learn and build life coping skills together.
- Reduce the barriers to accessing help and support.
