Deadline: 18-Apr-21
The Caribbean Vulnerable Community Coalition (CVC) is pleased to announce a call for Applications to provide small grants to Community-based organisations (CBO) to support them conducting Participatory Action Research (PAR) to inform their programming with key populations and/or to use this data to support the theory of change of the work that they do with these groups.
CVC is providing funding to apply the PAR approach to the problems CBOs encounter in their service provision, whether in the area of prevention, care and treatment, human rights, or advocacy. This will present an opportunity not only to find evidence-based solutions but to involve persons affected in the process, hence raising awareness and empowering the community.
This project provides a unique opportunity to institutionalize partnerships between civil society and governments to achieve and sustain effective programs that meet the needs of key populations (KPs) and reduce the impact of HIV.

- To reduce structural barriers to key population services including stigma & discrimination and gender-based violence;
- To improve knowledge generation and use of strategic information on key populations for decision-making and advocacy by communities and other stakeholders;
- To increase domestic resources for effective key population programming; and
- To mobilize resources for key population organizations.
