Call For Locally Led Development Concepts on Biodiversity Conservation in Guatemala

USAID/Guatemala is making a special call to local actors for the submission of concepts to be considered for a co-creation of award(s) focused on Biodiversity Conservation in Key Protected Areas in Guatemala. This five-year, $25 million activity or activities will build national capacity to improve management and governance throughout Guatemala’s System of Protected Areas (SIGAP) and implement interventions in three priority land and seascapes. This will respond to the needs of high-priority biodiversity sites in Guatemala while generating nature-based sustainable sources of income while reducing economic and/or security drivers of irregular migration.
