Apply Today: City Activation Grants Program (Australia)

Deadline: 20-Aug-21

The United Nations Development Programme in Kazakhstan is announcing a call for low value grants applications among non‑governmental/non-commercial organizations within the framework of the project “Alliances for Change – Elimination of All Forms of Violence and Harmful Practices Against Women and Girls in Central Asia” of the Spotlight Initiative Regional Programme.

The purpose of this call is to identify and summarise successful innovative practices in working with survivors of violence or representing their interests, which could be summarised for peer-to-peer exchange and knowledge sharing with interested counterparts (civil society organisations).

The Spotlight Initiative is the largest collective action to date to eliminate violence against women and girls by 2030. It is implemented as a global long-term partnership between the European Union and the United Nations.

The concept of the Spotlight Initiative consists of counteracting all forms of violence against women and girls, primarily domestic, family, sexual and gender-based violence, harmful practices, femicide, human trafficking, sexual and economic exploitation.
