Participants are invited to apply for the USAID LEADER in Moldova project, funded by USAID and co-funded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova, a two-year program that is aimed at developing local communities based on the LEADER approach.
The USAID LEADER Activities in Moldova project aims to support and encourage rural residents to assess the long-term development opportunities of the micro-region and provides for the following stages of implementation:
- Facilitating the process of creating Local Action Groups that includes information, community mobilization, identification of potential LAG members, identification of local actors and their involvement in strategic planning and development of the Strategic Action Plan for the Development of the Territory of the LAG ;
- Enhancing the Competitiveness of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the LAG’s territory – strengthening the capacities of local entrepreneurs in terms of business development, enhancing the competitiveness of the local product, supporting local production in the EU market;
- Drafting and announcing the LAG’s local competition on the financing of LAG territorial development projects;
- Funding and implementation of local development projects selected by the LAG (projects related to the implementation of the LLG Territorial Action Plan).
Criteria
Representatives of rural communities can participate in this appeal , namely:
- Territorial Partnerships made up of at least three first-level LPAs in rural areas and urban centers with a population of up to 10,000, expressing their willingness and willingness to implement the LEADER approach in Territorial Partnership with a view to enhancing local development cross.
How to Apply
The following completed documents must be sent via e-mail at the address given on the website and must include:
- Application form completed according to the model / formal application form (in word format)
- The scanned copy of the Intention Agreement for the implementation of the LEADER approach and participation in the project / coordination of the designated prior to the leader approach signed by the relevant parties according to the model (in PDF format)
