Call for Projects: “Loss of autonomy” (France)

The Legrand Foundation is launching a call for projects, dedicated to the various players in the social and solidarity economy (ESS) in mainland France who are investing in people losing their autonomy.

The aim is to encourage the emergence of innovative projects with a social vocation in the field of loss of autonomy, to help and support associations in the structuring and deployment of their innovative projects and to demonstrate the potential of innovation of the social and solidarity economy.

Funding Information

• An award of €26,000 will be shared between the winners who will be able to develop their project
  • 1st prize: €10,000
  • 2nd prize: €7,000
  • 3rd prize: €5,000
  • Public prize : €2,000
  • Employee prices Legrand: €2 000

Eligibility Criteria

• The project falls within the Legrand Foundation’s field of action: Acting against loss of autonomy and improving the living environment of the most vulnerable
• The project takes place in mainland France
• The project is carried out by a non-profit association which intervenes in the field of general interest (article 200 and 238 bis of the CGI)
• The association must have been in existence for at least 1 year when submitting its application
• The project is the only one presented by the organization under this call for projects

Ineligibility Criteria                                                                

• The Legrand Foundation does not subsidize projects carried out by religious or political organizations
• The organizers Legrand and FACE as well as the partner structures of this call for projects cannot participate in the call for projects as project leaders
• The winning project of a previous call for projects from the Legrand Foundation or a project which already benefits from financial or material support from the Legrand Foundation cannot participate in this call for projects
• A structure winning another call for projects from the Legrand Foundation can participate in this call for projects by presenting a project other than the one already winning or already supported
