UN Women is seeking proposals from qualified and reputable faith-based organization as Responsible Partners (RPs) to effectively engage and collaborate with traditional and faith leaders in preventing and ultimately ending VAWG in line with the goal of the “Faith and Cultural Leaders for Ending GBV by Advancing Advocacy, Policy and Social Norms Change in Nigeria and West Africa” (LEAP) project.

In collaboration with traditional and faith leaders and consultants, the faith-based CSO will be expected to facilitate review of commitments by traditional and faith leaders on ending VAWG, support the development of national and regional accountability framework on the prevention of VAWG, facilitate safe spaces for dialogue and reflection on VAWG, SRHR and other SDG 5 commitments by traditional and religious at community, sub-national and national levels and support the alignment of COTLA and religious leaders from national to state level including the National Prevention Technical Working Group and finally, support traditional and faith leaders to organize community level social mobilization and awareness creation on the prevention of VAWG.
