The Community Foundation of Greater Flint (CFGF) has announced a call for proposals for the Flint Women and Girls Funds.

The Flint Women and Girls Funds seek to increase gender equity by increasing opportunities for women and girls’ economic empowerment, social development, self-expression and civic engagement. They believe these factors are major contributors to achieving gender equity.
The purpose of the Flint Women and Girls Fund is to encourage the advancement and full participation of women and girls in society by promoting the removal of barriers to their economic, educational, physical, emotional, social, artistic, and personal growth. This means:
