The UNDP implemented project “Inter-community Dialogue through Inclusive Cultural Heritage Preservation”, financed by the European Union’s Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP), has announced a call for proposal for the selection of NGOs/CSO’s to implement practical skills development training for women and young people in Kosovo.
Objectives
The overall objective of this Call for Proposal is to boost practical skills development of women and youth through arts and crafts, leading to their increased employ ability and preservation of traditional handiworks.
Working with NGOs/CSOs and other grass-root organizations, the Project will provide grants to finance activities that preserve traditional skills and arts and crafts, thus safeguarding intangible cultural heritage of Kosovo’s communities. Indicative areas of work include, but are not limited to:
- Documenting, education, promotion and preservation of filigree;
- Training and skills development for cultural guides; and
- Revitalisation of artisanal skills through existing artisan centres/organisations in Kosovo

Funding Information
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposal is EUR 97,000.00.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be legally registered as CSO/NGO in Kosovo and have in possession a valid registration certificate;
- Demonstrate that its mandate and founding document are in line with the activities for which the fund is being sought;
- A proven track record of experience in the implementation of similar/related type of activities with a special focus on development and delivery of skills development programs;
- Experience in working with Guilds of Crafts (or similar associations), micro or small business in developing training programs and implementing apprenticeships;
- Key project management team should have relevant experience in the related field for a minimum of three (3) years;
- Previous experience in working with international organizations/donors is an advantage;
- Staff should have excellent oral and written communication skills in Albanian and/or Serbian languages. For the reporting purposes to UNDP, the selected NGOs/CSOs should report in English language.
