The Initiative Sankofa d’Afrique de l’Ouest (ISDAO) has launched a call for proposals to ensure the health and empowerment of communities of LGBTQI people, sex workers and people who use drugs (DU), through an approach to sexual and reproductive health and rights that is more inclusive and people-centered.

ISDAO, West Africa Sankofa Initiative, is a fund led by West African activists for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) people. It is an initiative that aims to strengthen and support a West African movement for gender diversity and sexual rights by adopting a flexible approach to grantmaking and developing a philanthropic culture committed to equality and social justice.

Love Alliance partnership is an initiative planned over a period of 5 years (2021-2025), aiming to provide grants at the national level and strengthen movements in ten (10) African countries. West, East, Southern and North. Its overall goal is to ensure that communities of LGBTQI people, sex workers and people who use drugs are healthy and empowered, through a more inclusive and people-centered approach to health and of Sexual and Reproductive Rights (SRHR). The initiative is focused on strengthening advocacy and building community-led movements in the 10 targeted countries, as well as strengthening advocacy at regional, continental and global levels.
