The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis has announced the proposals for the Madhya Pradesh Taskforce on the Reduction of NMR, IMR, MMR, And Malnutrition.
Purpose/Objectives
The Madhya Pradesh Taskforce for NMR, IMR, MMR, and Malnutrition aims to encourage researchers across the country associated with public or private institutes interested in carrying out empirical research that will contribute to strengthening maternal and child healthcare and nutrition in Madhya Pradesh. State Health System Resource Centre at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), Bhopal is the technical secretariat of the Taskforce. AIGGPA is the nodal agency for all the research projects proposed to this Taskforce.
Research Topics: Proposals should ideally focus on topics and questions that are relevant to maternal and child healthcare and nutrition in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in the public healthcare system.
Qualifications
Individuals or a group of researchers associated with public or private institutions are expected to submit research proposals. Exceptional freelance researcher(s), with a proven publication record, may also be considered. Individuals or research teams may submit a proposal for one or more research questions or topics. Multiple proposalsfrom the same institution are also eligible to apply.
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance of topic to the state context and describe the underlying hypothesis clearly,accompanied with existing evidence in the literature.
- Provide a detailed methodology for the proposed study. This must include empirical strategy, sample size, nature of data collection, power calculations, statistical tools, instruments, etc. Researchers are encouraged to use a multidisciplinary approach.
- Please specify the individual researchers that are going to be engaged with the study, their expertise, and publication records. Also, indicate the principal investigator(s) forthe study.
- A detailed timeline with clear deliverables at each stage. The overall time duration required for the study should be around 6-9 months.
- The financial statement of the budget required to carry out the study shouldbe clearly outlined. A decision on full or partial funding of the study will be made on the assessment of the complete proposal.
