Call for Proposals: Provision of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education and Awareness (Palestine)

Agriculture Risk Management Education Partnerships Competitive Grants Program (United States)

Deadline: 8-Aug-23

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is seeking proposals for the provision of explosive ordnance risk education and risk awareness for at-risk communities in the West Bank to educate at-risk individuals about safe behavior around explosive hazards while mainstreaming gender in order to save lives.

Through this Grant, the UNMAS Palestine Programme will select a community based organization (CBO), or a Civil Society Organization (CSO) as a Grantee to implement EORE for at-risk communities, specifically Bedouin communities, in the West Bank. The Grant aims to build and enhance the capacity of the Grantee to provide EORE sessions and messages to at-risk communities in the West Bank, particularly for the Bedouin communities in rural and marginalized areas, with the goal of developing a sustainable capacity for the communities in the West Bank to mitigate the risks of ERW. The Grantee will receive ToT workshops by the PMAC prior to deployment to the community. The PMAC, with support from UNMAS, will conduct QA, coordination, and monitoring of the EORE delivered by the Grantee.
