The National Research Foundation is inviting you to submit proposals for the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory Community Development Grants.
Areas
- The grant committee is interested in projects in the following areas:
- Early Childhood Development
- Literacy Programs
- Youth Development Programmes
- Sports, and Recreational Activities
- Arts, Culture and Indigenous Knowledge Systems
- Community Safety
- Anti-Alcohol & Drug Abuse
- Any other social challenge in the community
They will be looking at:
- Relevance of your project
- Project objectives and outcomes
- Proof of financial need
- A viable and realistic budget
- The envisaged impact and benefit of your project
- The project implementation plan (timelines, expenditure plan, beneficiaries, etc.)
Eligibility Criteria
- Organisations and/or individuals who are part of or are involved in a community development programme, are eligible for the SARAO Community Development Grant.
