Deadline: 30-Sep-22
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgrade is pleased to announce a call for applications for Small Local Development Cooperation Projects (MLP) directly managed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgrade.
These projects are complementary to projects implemented by the Czech Development Agency (ČRA), and represent an important component of Czech foreign development cooperation.
Projects should be focused on the sectors of health, education and training, environmental protection, agriculture and rural development, natural resource management, economic transformation and growth
Funding Information
- Funds provided by the Embassy of the Czech Republic for each project range from 200,000 CZK to a maximum limit of 500,000 CZK. Grants are paid out in dinars, based on the amount specified in the form in CZK, and in equivalent value in CZK according to the exchange rate used by the Embassy on the day of payment (when filling out the form, use the exchange rate for September 2022: 1 RSD = 0.211,280 CZK).
- Therefore, the applicant must take into account that the amount donated will be slightly different from the amount stated in the application form.
-
During the evaluation, the level of self-sustainability of the project (the results of the project remain even after the end of the project), the level of co-financing (co-financing from the applicant or from other sources is welcome), the direction of the project (higher priority will be given to projects focused on training, sharing know-how, etc. in relation to projects focused on elementary material aid), as well as economy, or disposition of the donation budget so that as little as possible, and at most 25% of the total amount of the donation, is spent on unnecessary personal and travel expenses of the project implementer.
-
They emphasize that small local projects must have a development aspect (they do not include, for example, user overhead costs).
-
The end of the project implementation is scheduled for October 31, 2023 at the latest.
Eligibility Criteria
- A project proposal can only be submitted by a domestic entity that has the status of a legal entity in the Republic of Serbia.
