The Silk Road Cultural Initiative (SRCI) has initiated this Call for Proposals to document the traditional arts and crafts of Afghanistan.
The project is intended to document one specific traditional art or craft throughout its various stages in the process of creation, hearing from the traditional artists and/or artisans themselves about the work they do, how they came to do it, and what drives them to continue.
The documentation itself of traditional arts and crafts can include any variety of forms such as film, audio, drawing/sketching, and photography.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals and/or Organisations (If Individual,must be 17 years of age or older, and if Organisation at least one member of implementing team must be 17 years of age or older).
- Must have proven experience in visual and/or audial documentaries, images, and/or artworks.
- Proven previous experience in work that focuses on documentation is strongly preferred.
Submission Requirements
- Completed Application Form
- CV of the Applicant
- CVs of anyone else anticipated working on project
- Images, Links, and/or Video Clips of previous work
- IF AN ORGANISATION – Ministry of Economics Registration License (if available)
