Call for Proposals to create Employment Opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire

IFE Call for Proposals to create Employment Opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire

Deadline: 22-Jan-21

The Invest for Jobs is seeking proposals for the Investing for Employment (IFE) in Côte d’Ivoire to support the creation of decent employment opportunities in Africa (long-term, full time jobs). It does so by offering co-financing grants for new investment projects with a high job creation impact.

IFE is part of the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Under the brand Invest for Jobs, the Special Initiative aims to create good jobs and apprenticeships and to improve working conditions in its partner countries in Africa.

IFE provides funding to companies, non-profit organisations and public partners to overcome obstacles to investments. IFE contributes cofinancing grants for employment-enhancing investments, accompanying advisory services and the set-up of investments, such as environmental and social impact assessments. This will remove barriers to creating additional and better jobs in the private sector.

Benefits

The IFE provides grants between €1 million and €10 million to co-finance four types of projects:
