The U.S. Mission to South Africa is pleased to announce the Julia Taft Fund 2023.

Each year, the Julia Taft Fund awards grants of up to $25,000 per project with the goal of supporting one-time interventions that respond to critical gaps in protection, assistance, or durable solutions for refugees, asylum seekers, and/or refugee returnees. Grants are issued to national, local, or refugee-led non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for projects to meet critical humanitarian and protection needs not addressed by International Organizations (IOs) and International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs). Please note the beneficiaries of your proposed project must be at least 50 percent refugees, asylum-seekers, and/or refugee returnees.
