The London Community Foundation is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the Pride London Festival Endowment Fund to support individuals and community organizations who are working to promote, educate about and celebrate issues surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
Created in 2017, this Donor-Advised Fund supports activities that build inclusion, promote education and develop awareness of the issues around sexual and gender diversity within the LGBT2Q+ communities and broader population. These activities may include special projects, support groups, podcasts, blogs, promotional material, art shows, performances, workshops, seminars, conferences or tuition.
The Pride London Festival Endowment Fund made its very first grant in 2018, in support of Camp Kee-Mo-Kee’s Out & Loud event – an LGTBQ+ day at camp for high school students featuring speaker Holly Painter, special workshops and social time with LGTBQ+ youth.
The Pride London Festival Endowment Fund supports activities that:
- build inclusion; and/or
- promote education; and/or
- develop awareness of issues around sexual & gender diversity within the LGBT2Q+ communities and/or the broader population.
Funding Information
Grant range up to $ 1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant can be either an individual or organization.
- The applicant must be – or have an affiliation with – a Middlesex, Elgin or Oxford County (Ontario, Canada) registered, charitable non-profit.
