The Ministry of Indigenous Affairs has announced the applications for Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP) to support infrastructure projects that contribute to economic development, create jobs and provide social benefit to the community or organization.
The Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP) funds the feasibility study, detailed design, renovation and construction, of Indigenous community infrastructure on-and off-reserve.
ICCGP funding supports First Nations, Métis communities and Indigenous organizations by:
- assisting with infrastructure projects across Ontario
- supporting the realization of cultural, social, and economic development objectives
- improving the quality of life for Indigenous people and closing the socio-economic gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Ontario
Eligibility Criteria
The following Indigenous communities and organizations in Ontario are eligible to apply for ICCGP funding:
- First Nation communities
- Métis communities
- Indigenous organizations
