Law Enforcement Agency De-Escalation Grants Program (US)

Deadline: 10 May 2017

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), U.S. Department of State, is currently seeking proposals for its programme entitled “Educating State-Level Stakeholders on Injury and Violence Prevention”.

The purpose of this project is to fund a national organization to provide capacity building assistance that supports the assessment of policy interventions to prevent unintentional injuries and violence and related disabilities and chronic conditions across the United States. The national organization will undertake activities to identify and analyze policy interventions that became law in states, develop and disseminate educational materials and as requested provide technical assistance. These activities will ensure that state stakeholders, the public, and partner organizations with an interest in state health policy related to injury and violence prevention have access to the best information to prevent injuries and violence and their related medical and societal costs.
