DHHS/CDC: Strengthen Capacity of South African Government's Department of Health and Implementing Partner

Deadline: 10 October 2016

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an agency of Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking applications from eligible organisations for a program entitled “Addressing Unmet Need in HIV Testing Services (HTS) through Effective Delivery Models in Malawi under the President’s Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)”.

The purpose of the program is to strengthen effective measures to address the unmet need for HTS in CDC supported districts in Malawi to support the attainment of the 90-90-90 goals based on the PEPFAR and Malawi Government priorities.

The implementing partner (IP) will increase utilization of HTS and other HIV-related support services using effective evidence-based delivery models taking into account geographical and sub-population disease burden. These will also include use of dedicated cadre to offer HTS at facility and community level building on efforts being implemented within the Malawi HTS program.
