Cultural Economic Development (CED) is a strategic initiative that seeks to promote economic prosperity for their region by investing in and strengthening arts & culture nonprofits in Washtenaw County. They would like to activate the artistic and cultural identity of all people in Washtenaw County and ensure a fundamental level of access to arts and culture for everyone.
On behalf of the Cultural Economic Development (CED) Committee, AAACF is seeking opportunities to invest funds in new grant programs that are serving communities through arts and culture leading to economic recovery and growth by focusing on three areas: Individual artists, COVID-19 Recovery, and Racial Equity.
Funding Information
- Grant award sizes will generally range from $2,500-$15,000 and have one year to launch and implement the project.
Eligibility Criteria
Arts and Culture Organizations that are developing new projects, and/or may have been impacted due to Covid-19 and are focusing on recovery are encouraged to apply.
