Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Conducting Public Health Activities in Egypt

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an agency of Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking applications from eligible entities for a program entitled “Conducting Public Health Activities in Egypt”.

The purpose of the program is to conduct public health research and surveillance on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases of public health importance including, but not limited to, acute respiratory illness, acute febrile illness, acute infectious neurologic disease, acute diarrheal illness, tuberculosis, acute hepatitis, hospital-associated infections, and anti-microbial resistance in the Arab republic of Egypt.

Foreign Organizations: a Foreign Organization is a public or private organization, whether non-profit or for-profit, located in a country other than the United States (U.S.) and its territories that is subject to laws of the country in which it is located, irrespective of the citizenship of project staff or place of performance.
