CFAs: Develop a National Short-lived Climate Pollutant Action Plan in Brazil

Deadline: 7-Jan-24

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is currently accepting applications to develop a National Short-lived Climate Pollutant Action Plan in Brazil.

This project responds to the request by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Brazil for services to deliver a National Plan to reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs). The project is expected to follow the CCAC’s national planning process to develop the national SLCP plan and should consider existing policies and regulations, including those from energy, transport, waste and agriculture sectors, to promote an integrated approach to the reduction of SLCPs at national and sub-national levels. The goal is to increase coordination of existing policies and institutions for air pollution and climate mitigation in Brazil. The results of this project are expected to inform Brazil’s 2025 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) update.
