CFP to Administer Social Innovation Grants Process in Kyrgyzstan

Request for Proposals: Community Based Organisations (South Africa)

Deadline: 26-Sep-21

The UN Women Kyrgyzstan is pleased to launch a call for proposals for regional multi-year Spotlight Initiative to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG), including harmful practices (HP), and aims at achieving transformational change.

The SI Kyrgyzstan under the Pillar 6, focuses on changing normal modes of capacity building support and prioritizes the voices and expertise of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) through the ‘Leading Change for EVAWG” approach while seeking to reinforce joint-actions for collaborative change.

This is done through, inter alia, creating new spaces for collaboration, knowledge sharing and creating joint visioning amongst the broad range of the key civil society actors. In seeking to leverage the movement’s expertise and support the CSOs in identifying joint vision and action for EVAWG (eliminating violence against women and girls)., SI intents to provide CSO’s which experience and methodology in EVAWG can be upscaled and replicated with Social innovation grants. SI is contracting an organization with wide network in three provinces (Chui, Naryn and Osh) with targeted CSOs aimed at sourcing creative and innovative approaches to EVAWG.
