Call for Proposals: Targeted Support Window (Pillar III) of the Transition Support Facility

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project to: increase accountability and improve the handling of gender-based violence (GBV) cases in Pakistan’s judicial system.

Goal: The goal of this program is the strengthened capacity of Pakistan’s justice institutions to adequately process GBV cases while prioritizing the needs of the victim. INL seeks to support the Pakistani government partners through a pilot project of broad spectrum justice system training to strengthen the justice sector and public confidence in the rule of law.

Objective: This objective is aimed at enhancing focus on the rights of the GBV victim through increasing the capacity of the legal professionals in the entire GBV incident system and raising public awareness regarding the impact of GBV on society and the individual victim.
