The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched the call for proposals to implement the Disaster-Resilient Productive Infrastructure Development Project in Mountain Communities of the departments from Olancho and Colón.

The project aims to strengthen the climate resilience and food security of 1,300 households (6,500 people), small-scale producers, and entrepreneurs through strategies that integrate community adaptation, risk reduction, and the promotion of sustainable food systems. At least 40 communities are expected to directly benefit from access to personalized climate information to improve their economic decisions.
