#image_title

Deadline: 16-Sep-2024

Are you part of a Civil Society Organization registered in Ethiopia? Are you part of a university registered in Ethiopia? Have you been providing legal aid service for at least three years? Are you interested in providing a legal aid service in collaboration with UNODC? If yes, then you may be eligible to receive funding and implement a joint project with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in 2024.

UNODC seeks to foster engagement of Civil Society Organizations and Universities through a call for proposal aiming at “improved access to justice in the Ethiopian criminal justice system, in particular for the poor, women and other groups living in vulnerable situations through access to legal aid and assistance”.

UNODC’s Call for Proposals seeks to provide funding through the support of the European Union – Basket Fund for Legal Aid Service Provision in Ethiopia – to not-for-profit organizations and university legal aid clinics aiming at improving availability, accessibility and quality of legal aid services in the Ethiopian criminal justice system.
