The World Food Programme has launched a call for proposals as part of the Smallholder Farmers’ Access to Productive Resources for Inclusive and Climate-Resilient Food Systems in Burundi Program.

Through this joint project, the United Nations System aims to strengthen the economic autonomy and resilience of smallholder farmers, with a particular focus on women and youth in the targeted areas. The overall objective is to enable them to better cope with the challenges posed by climate change and exogenous shocks.
