The UN Women is inviting applications to strengthen institutional capacities for education and training on issues of women’s human rights, peace and conflict resolution and developing training processes at the national level territorial on the same topics.

Required Services/Results
- The organization will be responsible for the execution of activities that contribute to the development of products to achieve the results of two projects, ensuring coordinated work, empowerment and leadership of women in the interventions. The proposal can articulate both projects or focus on one of them.
- From the project Consolidating infrastructures to sustain peace
- The project, in alliance with the State and civil society institutions, will develop actions to generate greater institutional capacities and conditions for equal citizen participation in inclusive, democratic and intercultural dialogic spaces that lead to the transformation of conflicts in a preventive and collaborative manner.
- Result 1: The state institutions that make up the peace infrastructures, coordinated by COPADEH, improve the approach to the prevention and transformation of social conflicts
- Result 1 of the project is aimed at working with the State, mainly with COPADEH as the coordinating entity of the institutions with a mandate on peacebuilding and conflict prevention and transformation. Participatory, intercultural and inclusive dialogic processes will be promoted for the prevention and transformation of social conflicts.
- Result 2: Organized civil society as part of the infrastructure for peace increases the quality of its informed participation in dialogic and decision-making processes for the prevention and transformation of social conflicts.
- Result 2 aims to work with organized civil society, especially with organizations of women, youth, indigenous peoples, farmers and the private sector so that, first, they have the necessary competencies and skills to participate in conflict prevention and transformation processes, and second, spaces for intra- and intersectoral strategic dialogue can be generated to address and reach consensus on key issues that affect the governance of the country. Some of these key issues are related to issues of development, lands and natural resources, and the rights of indigenous peoples to prior, free and informed consultation.

- The project seeks to generate favorable conditions so that the different stages of the electoral process are developed in an environment of peace and democratic culture at the national and territorial level, with high participation of women, indigenous populations, other traditionally marginalized populations and with a history of low participation. electoral.
- Result 1: The TSE prevents and responds to electoral conflict from a gender equality perspective
- Result 1 of the project is aimed at ensuring that the conflict surrounding the electoral process has been addressed by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) in a coordinated and comprehensive manner, as the highest authority in electoral matters, independent, not subordinated to any State agency. and whose main mission is the organization of electoral processes, through the guarantee of will in a transparent and inclusive environment. To this end, the national and local coordination spaces of the TSE will be strengthened, which aim to prevent conflict associated with the 2022-2023 electoral process. It also aims to promote a collaborative instance and spaces between the TSE, youth and women at the central and local level, with special emphasis on very high-risk municipalities that will repeat municipal elections, to strengthen their participation and as agents of transformation of the conflict.

Eligibility Criteria
- Required technical/functional competencies:
- Non-governmental organization with five years of being legally constituted.
- Non-governmental organization with technical personnel specialized in human rights, particularly women’s human rights.
- Demonstrable experience of at least five years in accompanying processes for the implementation and management of international cooperation projects, providing training, technical assistance with a gender perspective and for the advancement of women’s human rights at the local level and with government institutions.
- Demonstrable experience of at least three years in project management or technical support to government entities.
- Previous experience in managing grants in the topics contemplated in these Terms of Reference.
- Experience in strengthening capacities and increasing knowledge with women’s organizations, leaders and public officials.
- Experience in technical support to government institutions in training/academic processes.
- Demonstrable experience in the preparation of financial reports, reports on the use of funds, management of supporting accounting documentation.
