CFPs: Strengthening Capacities for Education and Training on issues of Women’s Human Rights and Peace – Guatemala

The UN Women is inviting applications to strengthen institutional capacities for education and training on issues of women’s human rights, peace and conflict resolution and developing training processes at the national level territorial on the same topics.

The United Nations agency UN Women, drawing on the vision of equality enshrined in the United Nations Charter, works to eliminate discrimination against women and girls; for the empowerment of women, and to achieve equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, for human rights, in humanitarian actions, and in peace and security. By placing women’s rights at the center of its work, UN Women will lead and coordinate the efforts of the United Nations System to ensure that commitments to gender equality and mainstreaming are translated into action around the world. At the same time, it will exercise substantive and coherent leadership to support the priorities and efforts of Member States, building an effective partnership with government, civil society, as well as other relevant actors.
