CFPs: Supporting Regional Civil Society Organisation Networks/Non-State Actors in the SADC Region

CFPs: Support for Civil Society Organisations in the Republic of Moldova in 2025

Deadline: 30-Jun-25

The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) has launched the call for proposals to support Regional Civil Society Organisation Networks/Non-State Actors in the SADC (Southern African Development Community) Region.

The overall objective of the project – which is jointly funded by the European Union and the German Government through the GIZ Strengthening-National Regional Linkages (SNRL) in SADC Programme – is supporting NSAs/CSOs to play a role in facilitating regional dialogues and contributing to regional policies. To this end, it intends to strengthen the role of regional civil society in the monitoring and implementation of the RISDP (2020- 2030) and SADC Vision 2050 by enhancing the capacities of NSAs/CSOs to aggregate positions, formulate policy recommendations, and to monitor policy implementation at the regional level.

The support will be provided in the following areas: policymaking through advocacy campaigns, policy-based knowledge products (policy briefs, position papers, etc.), capacity development (targeted trainings, seminars, etc.), and promoting cooperation and learning among non-state actors/civil society organizations, academia and research institutions.
