The Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund (CLGF) is seeking applications for Programs, Projects, and Events (PPE) Grants with an aim to encourage 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to serve the LGBT community either directly or in partnership with another organization(s).

The vision of the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund is to cultivate one community with the belief that all people should be treated with dignity and respect with a mission to fund organizations that support the LGBTQ community through the pooled financial resources of individuals, corporations and foundations.

The Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund (the Fund) was created to positively impact the underfunding of nonprofit organizations serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The Fund award grants to organizations that support the LGBT community, as well as bridge building initiatives that seek to cultivate alliances and support with the non-gay community in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

The Fund is a collective giving fund and endowment initiative of Foundation For The Carolinas, and contributions are tax deductible.

Funding Information

LGBT as well as non‐LGBT organizations are eligible for a PPE Grant of up to $5,000 for programs, projects, and events.
