The Carlsbad Community Foundation is seeking applications for Chevron Catalyst Grant Program to enrich the lives of people in Carlsbad and South Eddy County, New Mexico, by supporting programs and projects that build community capacity and quality of life.
The Carlsbad Community Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization that promotes and enhances the lives of people in Carlsbad and South Eddy County. The Foundation was established in 1978 and has been a primary supporter of education, arts and humanities health and human services and other key issues for four decades.
At the core of the organization are the generous donors, who over the years have directed their charitable giving toward endowment funds to address present and future needs.
Earnings from the Foundation’s endowment funds are used to award scholarships and grants. Meanwhile, the permanent portion of the funds continue to grow and generate money to ensure funding is available for years to come.
Funding Information
Typical grant awards have been between $500 and $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Charitable organizations may apply for grants to address a wide variety of community needs, including civic involvement, health, diversity, arts and culture, education, etc.
- All 501c(3) and other charitable organizations in Carlsbad and South Eddy County are invited to apply.
