The City of Bunbury has announced the 2020-2021 Arts Grant Program, it is accessible to a wide range of applicants and support a broad variety of art forms and creative cultural practices including, but not limited to; Performance seasons, arts industry events, exhibitions, festivals, film, photography, and community arts projects.
The City is looking for innovative projects that that will contribute to arts development and benefit the community by building capacity and skills through arts participation and enhance Bunbury’s profile as a creative city.
Funding Information
- Up to $5,000 available and a maximum of 50% of the total activity budget for an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, business or individual auspiced by an incorporated not-for-profit organisation.
- Up to $1,000 available and a maximum of 50% of the total activity budget for a non-auspiced individual.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to receive an arts grant from the City, the applicant must:
- Be an business, incorporated not-for-profit organisation or if applying for $1,000 or less, an individual auspiced by and incorporated not-for-profit organisation.
- Demonstrate that the City’s allocation will be matched financially or in-kind, with business applicants required to demonstrate matched funding as a cash component and all other applicants able to demonstrate matched funding as a cash or in-kind contribution. In-kind services must be calculated at $25 p/hour.
- Submit an application through the City’s grant management portal, Smartygrants – bunbury.
- Have all appropriate insurance and licences relevant to their work
