The City of Moonee Valley is accepting applications for the COVID-19 Recovery Grants Program.
These grants can provide funding for local business, community groups and artists to undertake projects to help adapt to the challenges faced by the pandemic and to reconnect as a community as we move towards a ‘COVID-normal’.
There are three streams of funding:
- Business Grants
- These grants are designed to support businesses with specific projects to adapt to the new challenges faced by the pandemic and to reconnect with the community as restrictions are easing
- They’re also looking for businesses to work together, collaborating so more businesses can benefit from successful grants projects
- Business collaboration – up to $10,000
- Adapting and reconnecting – up to $5,000
- Community Grants
- These grants are designed to support local community groups and organisations that have been impacted by the pandemic to continue operations and to deliver meaningful community projects to help the community to reconnect.
- Adapting and reconnecting – up to $5,000
- Community recovery partnerships (community groups) – up to $1,500
- Community recovery partnerships (essential service) – up to $20,000
- Artist Grants
- Funding is available to develop new works or continue works that have been interrupted.
- Individual artists – up to $2,500
- Arts organisations – up to $5,000
Eligible Applicants
Business Grants
- Based and operating in Moonee Valley:
- Businesses
- Social enterprises
- Sole Traders
- Trader Associations
Community Grants
- Community groups
- Not-for-profit orgnizations: based and/or delivering services in Moonee Valley and incorporated or supported by an auspice. Oragnisations that are not based in Moonee Valley must demonstrate strong connections with local partners.
Artist Grants
- Individual artists living in Moonee Valley
- Not-for-profit arts organisations based on Moonee Valley
- Applicants must demonstrate their practice in the medium of visual arts, public/street art, music, theater, performance art, dance, comedy, literature, culture arts, etc.
