The Coastal Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Encinitas Fund Grant to address local needs and to encourage philanthropy today for the benefit of Encinitas and all of its communities.
The fund is part of Coastal Community Foundation which has been serving the North Coast for over 30 years. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in San Diego North County by directing philanthropic efforts towards community needs.

The Encinitas Fund Grant Committee provides sufficient oversight to ensure that grants are distributed for charitable purposes and are administered in accordance with established standards and best practices.
Funding Information
- Grant Range: $2,500 – $5,000.
Criteria
- Grant funds may be requested for new activities, to expand current programs, to make them more effective or to improve organizational efficiency in delivering services.
- Nonprofits may have offices located outside of Encinitas but the services or programs must be provided in Encinitas communities for its residents.
- The Encinitas Fund does not make grants to individuals, for fundraising events, endowment campaigns, travel, religious or political advocacy or for programs and services outside of Encinitas.
