The Coca-Cola Foundation is seeking Grant Proposals to Strengthen Atlanta Westside Neighborhoods with an aim to empower programs benefiting women and girls in communities closest to home, right in Atlanta.
With this micro-grant request for proposal, the Foundation will provide an opportunity for local Atlanta programs succeed.
Groups will apply for consideration for an award that could go far in helping a grassroots organization in Westside Atlanta develop the skills and abilities of local women and girls in their goals to create the change they want to see around them.
Scope of Grant
Program submissions must be focused on education and capacity building programs for women and girls in the neighborhoods of Atlanta University Center, Ashview Heights, English Avenue and Vine City in Westside Atlanta.
Funding Information
The Foundation will select one or more programs in Westside that empower women and girls to award grants totaling $50,000 to help strengthen the communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grant requests must be up no more than $50,000
- Programs must specifically serve the residents of the following neighborhoods: Atlanta University Center, Ashview Heights, English Avenue and Vine City
- Programming should be focused on women and girls (ages 13-18) empowerment
- The program should include an element of education, skills training or individual capacity building to transform lives of residents in the community
- New and existing programs are eligible
- The program must be completed within 12 to 18 months of grant award
- The organization must provide proof of experience in relevant past programs
- Organizations must have tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code
- Program success must be indicated by clear and defined measurable results
