Community One Foundation’s Rainbow Grants in Canada

The Community One Foundation is accepting applications for its Rainbow Grants to provide funding to foster new and innovative services and programs that have a positive impact on the 2SLGBTTIQQ community in the Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”) + Halton, Peel & Durham regions, in the areas of:

Types of Grants

Please note that each applicant is only eligible to apply under one category. However, if an organization has more than one project in which they are applying for grants, the organization can request a grant under different categories for each project.

Eligibility Criteria

All individuals who have made a significant contribution through the arts and sciences in promoting the understanding and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersex, queer and two-spirited communities in the Greater Toronto Area are eligible to be nominated. The arts and sciences may include the humanities (literature, philosophy, etc.), the social sciences (law, psychology, politics, history, social work, community development, etc.), fine arts (music, theatre, film, etc.), and physical sciences (engineering, biology, medicine, etc.).
