Homelessness NSW (HNSW) is seeking applications for its Core and Cluster Program to provide added support for organisations to build capacity to tender for Core and Cluster-funded projects.
In partnership with Domestic Violence NSW (DVNSW), Homelessness NSW (HNSW) are providing up to $500,000 worth of grants for organisations who require one-off financial support to effectively plan and participate in the Core and Cluster procurement.
Grants are open to all organisations applying for Core and Cluster funding; however, priority will be given to Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, regional based projects and smaller organisations with less than $5 million in revenue each year.
Applicants can seek funding for activities including, but not limited to, contracting professional legal services or specialist consultants, or retrospective funds for expenses incurred from Core and Cluster Tranche 1 and 2 rounds.
Grants are administered by HNSW, in partnership with DVNSW, on behalf of the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
Funding Information
The maximum grant amount per eligible organisation is $20,000 (excl. GST).
Eligibility Criteria
- Organisations classified as Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS), Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) services, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO), Aboriginal Community Housing Providers (ACHP) or Community Housing Providers (CHP) and other organisations.
- Organisations who can demonstrate genuine interest to participate in the Core and Cluster procurement processes.
- Prioritisation will be given to grant applications from Aboriginal community controlled organisations, regional based projects and smaller organisations (funded services with an annual revenue less than $5 million) that are interested in the Core and Cluster Program but have limited capacity to participate.
- Partnerships and consortiums are eligible to apply for funding. Prioritisation will be given to partnerships and consortiums that include Aboriginal organisations, regional based projects or smaller organisations with less than $5 million in revenue each year.
- Individuals and Sole Traders are ineligible to apply.
