Create NSW offering Funds for Creative Koori Project (Australia)

UNESCO Call for Applications - African World Heritage Day 2021

Deadline: 23-Sep-20

The Create NSW has announced the Creative Koori Project funding that aims to build support for a strong, resilient and exciting Aboriginal arts and cultural sector for NSW.

The ACFP supports excellence in arts and culture by funding creative development and presentation, investing in artists and arts and cultural workers and supporting cultural visitation and participation. The Program supports the telling of stories that reflect NSW’s diverse history and contemporary life. This approach supports NSW as a world class Centre for the arts and for culture.

A key priority for the ACFP is to invest in NSW Aboriginal arts and cultural practice and to deliver this through Aboriginal self-determination and leadership.

This will be done through embracing the principles of Aboriginal self-determination and putting Aboriginal artists, organisations and communities at the centre of funded cultural and creative activity. This funding is only available to Aboriginal artists, arts and cultural workers, groups and organisation.
