Open call for Professional Development Grant Program in Australia

City of Mississauga is offering grant to offset the eligible expenses associated with providing a clean and safe venue for the presentation of arts, heritage and cultural festivals/celebrations to Mississauga residents and visitors.

The Cultural Festivals and Celebrations (CFC) program aligns with the vision of Mississauga’s Culture Master Plan by supporting a range of activities reflecting the City’s many cultural traditions and practices. The City is committed to the long-term growth and sustainability of culture and the quality of life of its resident. Applicants are encouraged to consider how grant funds can increase resident engagement for significant dates for the Mississauga community, including Black History Month (February), International Women’s Day (March 8), Asian and South Asian Heritage Month (May), Pride Month (June), Indigenous History Month (June), National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), and National Day for Truth & Reconciliation (September 30) to name a few.
