Dakchyata Call for EOIs: Inviting Nepali Organisations for Practical Partnership Fund

Dakchyata: TVET Practical Partnership project, funded by the European Union and managed by the British Council has launched a 2nd call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from interested Nepali organisations to apply for grants funds under the Practical Partnership Fund.

The specific objective of the project is to strengthen and implement a more effective policy in the TVET sector, responsive to labour market needs. The project also aims to pilot an integrated Public Private Partnership (PPP) approach in three key economic sectors: agriculture (commercial farming and food production), construction, and tourism, offering opportunities for promoting the transition to a greener, climate resilient, low-emission economy.

The overall objective of the Practical Partnership Fund is to pilot ways of improving relevance, quality and sustainability of training provision in TVET by facilitating innovative Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models. The specific objectives of the grant funded projects are to:

A total of EUR 4,000,000 is being made available under this call: EUR 2,000,000 in total for each type of project.

Project Duration

The estimated project duration is approximately 18 months.
