Department of Health and Human Services: FY17 Partnerships to Achieve Health Equity(Partnership Program)

The Office of Minority Health (OMH), located within the Office of the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS or Department) has announced the anticipated availability of funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 for grant awards for the Partnerships to Achieve Health Equity (Partnership program).

The Partnership program seeks to support partnerships that involve an organization with a nationwide or regional reach, focus or impact, to achieve health equity for racial and ethnic minority and/or disadvantaged populations. Each proposed project must address one (although an applicant may choose to address no more than two) of the following four categories:

Eligible Country: United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
