DHHS-CGH: Optimizing Performance by Improving Quality in HIV and HIV/TB Programs in the Republic of South Africa Under PEPFAR

The Department of Health and Human Services, Centres for Disease Control is seeking applications for its grant program entitled “Optimizing Performance by Improving Quality (OPIQ) in HIV and HIV/TB Programs in the Republic of South Africa under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).”

The purpose of this NOFO is to improve performance of HIV and TB key PEPFAR indicators by using QI methodologies to collaborate with IPs and South Africa’s National, Provincial, and District DOH in order to provide TA and improve performance of HIV and TB programs in order to reach epidemic control.

This award will focus on broad, cross-cutting issues that affect multiple districts, sub-districts, or health facilities. This NOFO will strengthen IPs’ and National, Provincial, and District DOH’s ability to carry out quality assessments and improvement projects.
