The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control – National Center for HIV-AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), is seeking applications for its program “Strengthening Collaboration between TB Control Programs and Affiliated Partners in the United States.
This project will support the awardee’s efforts to:
- maintain effective communication capacity among the nation’s TB control programs and affiliated partners
- sustain capacity for coordinating a rapid, comprehensive assessment of problems and opportunities in the field of TB prevention and control
- maintain capacity to coordinate consultations and collaborations that produce a front-line perspective on the fast-moving programmatic, scientific and technological issues affecting national TB objectives
- assist in identifying TB training needs
- provide access to the most up-to-date information on best practices, current research and other innovative approaches to TB control
- evaluate project effectiveness and impact toward accomplishing project outcomes.

- Estimated Total Program Funding: $1,400,000
- Award Ceiling: $280,000
- Award Floor: $230,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Unrestricted (i.e., open to any type of entity)
- Non responsivness to applications will be due to one or more of the following:
- Lack of necessary experience working directly with TB control programs and affiliated partners
- Lack of the ability to provide/sustain capacity in the field of TB prevention and control
- Lack of the capacity to coodinate consultations and collaborations that produce a frontline perspective on the fast-moving programmatic, scientific and technological issues affecting national TB objectives
