The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is seeking applications for its “Strengthen the Evidence for Maternal and Child Health Programs” to increase the number of states demonstrating improvements in their National Performance Measures (NPMs), by implementing evidence-based strategies.
The purpose of the program is to improve the health and well-being of women and children in the United States by supporting the implementation of evidence based/evidence-informed strategies for the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services Block Grant program (hereafter referred to as Title V MCH Block Grant).

Eligibility Criteria
- Under 42 CFR § 51a.3(a), any public or private entity, including an Indian tribe or tribal organization (as those terms are defied at 25 U.S.C. 450b), is eligible to apply for this federal funding opportunity.
- Faith-based and community-based organizations are also eligible to apply for these funds.
