The Administrator of the Administration for Community Living invites applications for a new award for fiscal year (FY) 2022 for the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP) Program: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network Collaborative Research Project.
The purpose of NIDILRR’s DRRPs, which are funded through the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program, is to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act by developing research based knowledge, methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technologies that advance a wide range of independent living and employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with the most significant disabilities. Under this priority, NIDILRR will fund a DRRP to serve as the ADA National Network Collaborative Research Project.
The Administrator of the Administration for Community Living establishes a priority for the funding of a Disability and Rehabilitation Research Project (DRRP) to serve as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network Collaborative Research Project. The Collaborative Research Project must be designed to contribute new knowledge of national significance related to ADA implementation and compliance. The Collaborative Research Project must conduct research using the regional structure of the ADA National Network as a foundation for multi-site research to inform ADA implementation efforts.
